Patricia Ann Cherry

October 16, 1952 - March 20, 2024

 Patricia “Pat” Ann Cherry, 71, of Bremen, passed away at 4:57 a.m., Wednesday March 20, 2024 in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Pat was born on October 16, 1952 in Mishawaka, IN to Donald and Bette (Jester) Smith.

On December 25, 1979 she married Charles “Bud” Cherry in Bremen. He preceded her in death on October 27, 2020.  Pat is survived by her five children, Amanda Smith of Bremen, Dustin (Erica) Cherry of Battle Creek, MI, Karen Deisinger of Mishawaka, IN, Laurie Cherry-Randall of South Bend and Buddy (Amy) Cherry of Clermont, FL, nine grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Mason Hochstetler, Destiny White, Jaidyn Deisinger, Amaya Deisinger, Justin Randall, Ashley Randall, Kamryn Cherry and Alexa Sylvester. She is also survived by two sisters Kelly (Eric) Thornton and Pam (Steve) Mirowski, both of Bremen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Chad Aker and two sisters Penny Smith and Jill McCarty. 

Pat enjoyed reading, crocheting, watching crime shows, and spending as much time as she could with her dog Bear. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center St., Bremen, IN 46506 with one hour of visitation prior.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
