James S. Nozykowski

SOUTH BEND - James S. Nozykowski, 54, died Saturday at the Hospice home in Fort Wayne. Born in South Bend, IN, he worked in the Claims Dept of K&K Insurance; was a graduate of Indiana University; past president of the South Bend Insurance Adjusters Association; and was a member of the Fort Wayne Insurance Adjusters Association and Blue Goose. He is survived by his wife, Lori of Fort Wayne; son, Matthew J. Nozykowski of Jupiter, FL; sister, Marie Pyneart of South Bend; a brother, John Nozykowski of Longmont, CO; stepdaughters, Rachael (Ben) Keller of Leo, IN, and Kristen (Jon) Sorg of Holland, MI; grandchildren, Hannah and Ruby; nieces and nephews, John Paul, Sara, Kara, Mary, Jason and Natalie; and his two beloved dogs, Macie and Blitzen. Gathering of family and friends to be announced. Arrangements by D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E Dupont Road. Preferred memorials to ASPCA or to Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana.
