Jeffrey E. Million
March 15, 1956 ~ June 4, 2024 (age 68)
Jeffrey Million was born on March 15, 1956 to Robert and Irene Million in South Bend, Indiana.
For all those that knew him, he was the best! He was an incredible husband and dad. Jeffrey retired from DLZ in 2023 after 25 years as a project manager, he was the biggest Cubs fan and Notre Dame fan. He was a Notre Dame season ticket holder for over 20 years. Jeff graduated in 1974 from Lasalle High School. He received his degree in mathematics from IUSB in 1984.
Jeff was a great coach at Southside Little League and was a phenomenal umpire. He was well respected in district 11 and the Northern Indiana high school baseball conference. His greatest accomplishment was being selected for the Junior Little League World Series in Taylor, Michigan, which was televised on ESPN. He also loved bowling. The best score was 280. He was an avid golfer in his younger days. He loved watching Jack Nicholas and Tiger Woods. He was also a huge Beatles fan and loved his backyard campfires.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Janet (Wright) who he married in 1994. He's also survived by his four children Mark (Sara) Scott, Katie, and Sean (Emma), as well as by four grandchildren whom he loved very much; Brody, Jake, Lucas, and Allison. He also survived by one brother, Robert (Jan) Million, and one sister Barbara (Jimmie) Force.
Visitation for Jeffrey will be from 3pm-7pm on Monday June 10, 2024 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeffrey’s name can be made to District 14 (little league). Bishop Christianson (president) 1304 Middlebury St. Elkhart, IN 46516.
