Brian Strebinger
Saturday rites planned for crash victim
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday Holy Cross Catholic: Church for Brian Strebinger, 25, of 22522 Adams, who was killed in a one car accident about 4 p.m. Wednesday at the U.S. 31 Bypass and the Indiana Toll Road overpass northwest of South Bend. Strebinger, a graduate of LaSalle High School, was born on July 13, 1955, in South Bend, he had lived here all his life.
He is survived by his parents, Robert C. and Marilyn Strebinger, with whom he lived; four sisters, Mrs. Annette M. VanDurmen, Mrs. Marcia A. Lisenko, Miss Carol E. Strebinger and Miss Sharon R. Strebinger, all of South Bend; five brothers, David J., Paul E. and Mark S., all of South Bend, James R. of Valparaiso and Kevin S.
of Elkhart; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Clara Bill Clements of South Bend, and his paternal grandfather, Robert L. Strebinger of South Bend. Rev. Jacob Smith, C.S.C., pastor of Holy Cross Church, will officiate at the services.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where a parish wake will be observed at 7:30 p.m. today. He was a Navy veteran and a former member of the We Together Singers at Holy Cross Church.

Gee, today is the 11th and i missed it all. Just now reading about Brian going home to wait for Jesus. I was with him atLaSalle and in We TogetherSingers with him. He was an immensely caring and kind human being. He will be missed and thought of often. See you on the other side Brian. Leigh.
