Karen M. Patton

Karen M. (Banicki) Patton, 37, of Boca Raton, Fla., passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, after an automobile accident.

 

Mrs. Patton was born on Dec. 18, 1959, to Bernard and Christine (Kwiecinski) Banicki. On Nov. 11, 1992, in Gretna Greens, Scotland, as Karen M. Banicki, she married Stephen Patton, who survives.

She is also survived by her mother, Christine Banicki of South Bend, Ind.; three sisters, Maryalice and her husband, Kenneth Miller of South Bend, Therese and her husband, Skip Ray of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla., and Roberta Brinley of South Bend; a brother, Martin Banicki of South Bend; three nieces; eight nephews; four great-nieces and five great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Mrs. Patton was the president of Euro Computers, and was an office manager with C.F.T., both in Boca Raton. She was a 1978 graduate of LaSalle High School.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thrusday, Jan. 23, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David J. Porterfield, C.S.C., officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend.
