Laurie A. Stahl, 44, of Eclipse Place in South Bend, Ind., passed away following an illness in Hospice House at 12:55 a.m.on Thursday, Sept.2. She was born to the late Jerome J.and Patricia A. (Rybicki) Kaczmarek in Goshen, Ind., and had lived most of her life in South Bend.

Along with her parents, two sisters, Cynthia Kaczmarek and Jacquelyn Pickton, both preceded her in death.

Ms.Stahl had been employed at Nyloncraft, Inc.in Mishawaka, Ind., since 1996.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa M.Stahl of South Bend; her son, Derrek A.Stahl of South Bend; and one brother, Leonard J. (Beverly) Kaczmarek of South Bend.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.Wednesday, Sept.8, in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N.Bendix Drive, South Bend.Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m.Tuesday, Sept.7, in Kaniewski Funeral Home, where a parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637-3437
