Gregory Phillip Wilton
Gregory Phillip Wilton 62, passed away in the comfort of his home in Port Richey Florida on Aug 12, 2024. Greg was born November 15, 1961, to Darwin “Bud” and Marie Wilton in South Bend Indiana. He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, his brother James Swoape, daughter Nicole Noffsinger, and mother in-law Phyllis Parks. He is survived by his loving wife and soul mate Jennifer Wilton, son Justin (Carrie) Wilton, Son Joey Laureano, daughter Amber Wilton Goddard, son Brandon (Emily) Wilton, brother Michael Wilton, sister Rebekah Wilton, grandchildren Natalie, Mia, Trinity, Brayden, Jaxson, Declan, Calvin, Miles and Indie, his fur babies Zeus, Zeke, and Merlin.
Greg graduated in 2011 from the Dallas Institute of Funeral services. He practiced as an embalmer in Dallas Texas, and Portland Oregon for years sharing his compassion to families in their time of need. He helped ease the pain of many and gave so much of himself. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, like time with family, crossword puzzles, the beach, and camping. He especially enjoyed the time he spent on the mini farm he created with his wife in Oregon they called “their sanctuary.” May he be remembered for his simple pleasures in life. His love of family, friends, nature and animals. A true warrior throughout his life. He fought and overcame so many battles courageously, before losing his last battle with cancer.
We would like to acknowledge how grateful we are for the outpouring of love and support from family and friends, and the compassionate care received from his Hospice team during this difficult journey. A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
