Cynthia Robinson Rucker 

South Bend - Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and Friend Cynthia Diane Rucker, 56 found rest on September 4, 2021. She was born to the union of Clarence and Cora Lee Robinson June 27, 1965 in South Bend, IN. Cynthia Graduated from Lasalle High School in 1983, where she played volleyball and basketball. Her need to help and care for people would call her to enter into the nursing field. In 1998 she fell for Derrick Codogan, and they began writing their own love story sharing some of life's best moments together. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She would clip poems and write her own with words that touched those near and far. She enjoyed taking drives, enjoying the scenery and going to the East Race to watch live music events while enjoying life. Those who knew Cynthia, knew if something was wrong, she would smile and say "Oh you know I don't go for that". Cynthia loved her family and held them dear and near to her heart, even when her health wasn't the best. She was so excited and determined to travel to Florida to attend her sons wedding also traveling to Texas to see her oldest granddaughter graduate; including seeing her second to oldest grandchild graduate, these memories would keep her smiling and would be some of her favorite conversations. She leaves to cherish her poems and loving memories: Husband Derrick Codogan, Father Clarence (Ella) Robinson, South Bend, IN Children: Quinton (Melissa) Rucker, Mishawaka, IN and Quala (Brian) Culberson Beaumont, TX; Three Siblings: Michael (April) Robinson Atlanta, GA, Clarence June Robinson Jr, Corrine Robinson both of South Bend, IN; Five grandchildren Quaana, Keanna, Darshala, Trey, and Brian Jr a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her Mother: Cora Lee Robinson and grandmother Louella Erby. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday September 11, 2021 at 11 AM with a Viewing one-hour prior at Second Baptist Church 24828 Fillmore Rd, South Bend, IN 46619.
