Jeffrey M. Taelman, 60, formerly of South Bend, passed away on September 9th in St. Lucie Medical Center in Port Saint Lucie, FL, suddenly after a short illness.

  Jeff was born in South Bend on September 25, 1960 to the late Ted and Roseanna (Decka) Taelman.

  He is survived by his daughters: Ashley Taelman of South Bend and Amanda (Chris) Buck of Walkerton   son, Jeremy Taelman of South Bend He has 8 grandchildren and a sister, Diane Taelman of South Bend. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Douglas Taelman.

  Jeff has resided in Florida since 2017 coming from South Bend. He was employed as tool and die maker at Froelicher Machine Company in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Jeffrey enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, golfing, bowling and being with his grandkids whom he loved dearly.

   Jeff (the life of the party) will be dearly missed by loving family and numerous friends he made during his life journey.

   In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Hanley and Sons Funeral Home, 23421 State Road 23, South Bend, IN 46614 to help defray costs.

   A Celebration of Life for Jeff will be held on Sunday, September 26th from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Chain-O-Lakes Conservation Club located 26230 Southport Drive, South Bend, IN 46628.
