In Memory
Shelley A. (Youts) Kajzer
November 8, 1967 ~ March 4, 2025
Shelley A. Kajzer, aged 57, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025. Born on November 8, 1967, in South Bend, Indiana, she was the cherished daughter of Gerald and Arline (Bogunia) Youts. Shelley graduated from LaSalle High School in 1986.
Shelley dedicated nearly 30 years of her life to Memorial Hospital. In addition, she spent many years in a similar role at NPH Neuro Psychiatric Hospital, where she worked as a clerk. In her role, she translated her nurturing nature into caring for both patients and colleagues, creating lifelong friendships and making a lasting impact on her community.
Shelley's warmth and love were the embodiment of familial devotion. She found her greatest joy in life through her daughters, Britney (Mike) Russell and Amanda (Tristan) Brown, reveling in the achievements and smiles of her adored grandchildren, Miles, Haley, and Madison. Shelley was also a huge part of the lives of her great nieces and nephews, always ready to offer support, love, and guidance. Her kindness extended to all the children who came into her life, and she was a constant presence for them, always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear.
Shelley’s bonds with her brothers, Jeffrey (Kim) Youts and Randy (Kelly) Youts, were strong and unbreakable. Together with the rest of her family, they shared countless memories and deep love throughout the years.
A reflection of Shelley's heart was her passion for the serenity of the lake, a place where many cherished family memories were created. Her presence enriched the lives of those she touched, and her radiant spirit will be greatly missed as her legacy of love continues to thrive within her family.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, at Hahn Funeral Home.
