Stephen A. Bumbarger

SOUTH BEND - Stephen A. Bumbarger, 52, Reynoldsville, died Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Christ the King Manor, DuBois, PA. Born July 18, 1957, he was a son of Bettie Larson Bumbarger, South Bend, IN, and the late Robert Bumbarger. He was married in Reynoldsville on Aug. 21, 1982.

He was a graduate of LaSalle High School, Class of 1975, and Indiana VoTech School with machinist certification, both located in South Bend, IN. He was a machinist for the past 30 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force, E-3. He was active in karate, having earned a brown belt in Shotokan / American Kenpo. He enjoyed time with family and pets.

He is survived by one son, Todd Bumbarger, Pittsburgh; two daughters, Sarah Bumbarger, Asheville, N.C., and Debbi Evans of Michigan; and two sisters, Elizabeth Carpenter, Nevada, and Emily Weller, Texas.

Friends will be received from 1-3 p.m. Saturday in the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville. Memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Manor Rehabilitation, 1100 W. Long Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
