SOUTH BEND - Raymond Davidson Jr. of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 7:39 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, of natural causes. Raymond, 51, was born on April 21, 1962, in South Bend, Indiana, to the union of the late Raymond and Doris (Brazier) Davidson Sr.

He graduated from LaSalle High School in South Bend. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army and continued to serve in the Army Reserves.

Those who are left to cherish his memory include his wife, Davetta (Ann) Davidson of Ft. Wayne, IN; longtime friend, Patricia Miller of South Bend, IN; five daughters, Yolanda, Yvonda, LaShaunda and Kaylynn Davidson, and Syretia (Jimmy) Hyde, all of South Bend; three sons, DeShawn and Derek Davidson, both of South Bend, IN, and Keith Ivory of Ft. Wayne, IN; 16 grandchildren; three brothers, Daniel (Dyra) Manns and Vincent (Windy) Davidson of South Bend, IN, and Dwight (Patricia) Manns of Dallas, TX; a special host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Those who preceded in death include his parents, Raymond and Doris (Davidson) Brazier; his youngest son, Delvon Davidson; daughter, Kenya (Kylin) Ellis, and son; sisters, Sherry Davidson and Darlene Manns; paternal grandparents, Grady and Mamie Davidson; and maternal grandparents, George and Alma (Cole) Durnton.
