SOUTH BEND - Allen Q. Dillard, 32, of South Bend, Indiana, was called home to our heavenly father on Monday, January 28, 2013. Allen was born on September 21, 1980, to Barbara Jean Dillard and Joseph Marcel Jones, in Chicago, Illinois.

Allen relocated to South Bend, IN, in 1993. Allen attended LaSalle High School. While attending LaSalle High School, Allen participated in the JROTC program for 2 years. Allen enjoyed his employment at Atlantis Plastics. Allen loved to spend time with his family, play his video games, and work on his vehicles. He was a supportive partner, father, brother, uncle and friend. He treated everyone like family, while keeping a huge smile on his face. Allen will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he has touched.

Allen is survived by his son, Shamar Dillard; daughters, Damaris Wyant, Alayja Dillard and Alayah Dillard, all of South Bend, Indiana; brother, Lorenzo Dillard, also of South Bend; significant other, Kasie Badur of South Bend; three stepbrothers, Darwin Black, Antonio Wilson Sr. and Tommy Dillard; along with four uncles, Jesse Dillard of East St. Louis, Illinois, a very special uncle who helped with his raising, Frank Dillard, Charles Dillard, and John Dillard of South Bend; three aunts, Geraldine Banks of Detroit, Michigan, Pamela Dillard of South Bend and Esther Dillard of Chicago, Illinois; a very special woman whom he called "Mom," Viola Patterson of South Bend; and a host of close nieces, nephews, and cousins who dearly loved him. Along with his parents, Barbara Jean Dillard and father, Joseph Marcel Jones,

Allen was also preceded in death by his son, Kylen; grandparents, Mary Dillard and Willie Dillard; three aunts, Emma Dillard, Rosa Lee Dillard and Bernice Dillard; and two uncles, Willie "Sonny" Dillard and Billy Ray Dillard.

Funeral services for Allen Q. Dillard will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013, in Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home Inc., 2702 Lincoln Way West.
