Jacquiline D. Ewert, 26, of Niles, Michigan (formerly of South Bend, Indiana) passed away at 10:30am Friday, April 14, 2006 at Lakeland Medical Center in Niles, Michigan, as a result of Epilepsy. She was born on May 23, 1979 to Matthew Lynn and Deborah Ann (Beard) Clark in South Bend, IN, and has lived in Niles, MI for the last six years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Matthew Lynn Clark.

On October 17, 1999, as Jacquiline D. Clark, she married Maynard C. Ewert in South Bend, IN. He survives. Along with her loving husband, she is also survived by her daughter, Clarissa O. Ewert and her son, Riley S. Ewert, both at home; her mother, Deborah Ann (husband Daniel) Trossen of Lynchburg, VA; several loving grandparents; two sisters, Hannah Trossen and Hope Trossen, both of Lynchburg, VA; two brothers, Andrew (Sharon) Clark of South Bend, IN; Michael (Anna) Clark of Lynchburg, VA; and a stepsister, Rebecah Ann Trossen of Columbia, SC.

Jacquiline was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in South Bend; and was a 1997 graduate of LaSalle High School in South Bend. She will, most of all, be remembered as a dedicated wife and mother.

Visitation will be from 12:00pm until 2:00pm Thursday, April 20, 2006 in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, April 20, 2006 in Kaniewski Funeral Home, with Pastor Timothy Fink officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Chapel Cemetery, New Carlisle, IN. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to: Her Surviving Children's Trust Fund c/o Teachers Credit Union.
