SOUTH BEND - Kenneth W. Hannah, 60, of South Bend, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. Kenneth was born May 17, 1957 in San Diego, California.

On April 10, 1982 at Lydick United Methodist Church, Kenneth married Debra Salvageot, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Michael Hannah of Indianapolis, IN and Joseph (Brittney) Hannah of South Bend; two grandchildren, Haleigh and Kaden, his father, William Hannah of South Bend, his mother, Margie Rzepka of South Bend, one sister, Lynne (Tom) Blake of South Bend, two brothers, Malcolm Wayne Hannah of South Bend, and Mark (Pam) Firth of Niles, mother-in-law, Kathleen Salvageot, sister-in-law, Karen Trzaskowski, and a niece, nephew, and their families.

Kenneth was a 1975 graduate of LaSalle High School. He worked as a drywall finisher for Local 1118 Painters Union. Ken was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved being outdoors - that was his church he always said. He was a lifetime member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He loved watching his sons, Mike playing baseball and Joe riding and racing dirt bikes. He was so happy all this was passed on to his grandkids. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him, especially his family. “Soar with the Eagles Honey, ‘til we meet again! It's not good bye - it's see you later!”

A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Friends may visit the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10th, at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 521 N. William Street, South Bend. Family and friends may leave e-mail condolences at www.welsheimer.com.
