Terry L. Johnson Sr.

SOUTH BEND - Mr. Terry Lee Johnson Sr., 54, beloved father, grandfather, son and brother who resided on Euclid Street, South Bend, passed away at 9 p.m. in Memorial Hospital, Terry was born to the union of James and Eurla (Hicks) Johnson on September 27, 1952, in South Bend, Indiana.

He graduated from LaSalle high school in 1970. He attended two years at Southwestern Michigan College. He was employed many years as a coach for Logan Industries. He recently began attending St. Augustine Church. He loved people and especially his grandchildren.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, James Johnson, two sisters, Sarah Johnson and Viola Keith and a brother, Robert Johnson.

Survivors left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Eunice Johnson and Jeri Kelly Austin; six sons, Terry (Heather) Johnson Jr., Larry Johnson, Jeremy Johnson and Demetrist Parchman, all of South Bend, Christopher Johnson of San Francisco, California, and Fontae Parchman of Dallas, Texas; his mother, Eurla Johnson, nine grandchildren; three sisters, Alma Wynn, Tonya (Tyrone) Robinson and Jacquelin Norris; three brothers, Herbert L. (Hattie) Johnson, all of South Bend, Wileston (Velma) Johnson of Danville, Illinois and Larry Scott of Washington, D.C.; two nieces, Tarraine Nichols of South Bend and Shemika Wynn of Indianapolis, Indiana; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Terry Lee Johnson Sr. will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2007, in Faith Apostolic Worship Center with burial following at Highland Cemetery. Viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the church. Arrangements have been entrusted with Alford's Mortuary.
