PAMELA D. LEWIS

SOUTH BEND - Ms. Pamela Dyann Lewis, 55, of 1036 W. Colfax, South Bend, Indiana, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009, in Memorial Hospital. She was born to the union of Rozell Lewis and Mattie Pearl on April 15, 1953 in Humboldt, Tennessee. Coming form Humboldt, she had lived in South Bend, since 1956 and was caregiver to a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of LaSalle High School and Ms. Lewis was retired from Ziker Cleaners. She loved to laugh and make others laugh as well.

Ms. Lewis is survived by two sisters, Luella Erby of South Bend and Ruby (Larry) Miller of Mishawaka; along with other relatives and friends who will miss her. She is preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Bell in 1990; and her sister, Thelma Austin in 1996. Funeral services for Ms. Pamela D. Lewis will be held today, March 27, 2009, at 11 a.m. in Alford's Mortuary where friends may call one hour prior to service.
