SOUTH BEND - Jessica T. Roberts Rawls, 27, of Fort Campbell, KY, formerly of South Bend, IN, died Friday, April 13, 2012 in her residence. Jessica was born on July 19, 1984 in Hollywood, FL to Dawn (Sult) and Roderick Roberts.

She graduated in 2002 from LaSalle High School where she played basketball, softball, and ran track, and later became an Information Management Specialist in the U.S. Army Reserves.

On September 5, 2009 she married Rico L. Rawls Jr. Surviving are her mother, Dawn Williams of South Bend; her father, Roderick Roberts of Margate, FL; her three daughters, Zaria Graham, Zaniya Bolden, and Zoey Rawls; her two brothers, Roderick Roberts II of Okinawa, Japan and Rashaad Roberts of Florida; her two sisters, Rochelle Broomfield and Shanice Broomfield both of Florida; her grandmother, Herscha M. Roberts; her grandfather, Richard Dale Sult; her grandmother, Nancy J. Sult, all of Florida; her grandmother, Linda K. Ritzenthaler; her great-grandmother, Dorothy L. Ritzenthaler, of Indiana; 1 aunt, 5 uncles, many cousins, and James and Sa'mya Felder.

Jessica was preceded in death by her son, Maxie Bolden IV; her grandmother, Penny J. Sult; her grandfather, Roosevelt Roberts and her great-grandfather, Robert L. Ritzenthaler.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, April 23, 2012 in St. Paul's Bethel Baptist Church, 621 Lindsey. Burial with military services will follow in Highland Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 2-6 Sunday at the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Memorial contributions may be made to the Red Cross.
