Paul D. Slusser Oct. 3, 1956 - May 12, 2015 OSCEOLA - Paul D. Slusser, 58, of Osceola, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015. The South Bend native was born October 3, 1956, to Dallas & Louise (Osos) Slusser.

Paul graduated from LaSalle High School with the Class of '75; he worked as a plumber & pipefitter. "An avid outdoorsman and hunter, equally deadly with a bow or gun. We are all a bit upset he took his best mushrooming spots with him. Beagle breeder and trainer, good hunting partner, a great brother and powered parachute pilot; a man of principal and conviction. Paul was also preceded in death by his sister, Eileen M. Slusser. Survivors include his stepson, Kraig Archibald of Middlebury; brothers, John (Connie) Slusser of South Bend and Roger (Cherie) Slusser of Largo, FL; his sisters, Mary (Greg) Batlis of Osceola, Jane Smith of Bremen and Sue (Brian) White of Crown Point; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services 1:00 Saturday, May 23, 2015, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Friends may call Friday 4-8 pm in the funeral home. Burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family's preferred memorial is the Humane Society of St. Joseph Co., 2506 Grape Rd., Mishawaka, IN 46545.
