MIRA BROCK-WILLIAMS

Mira Brock-Williams Feb. 1, 1974 - Aug. 23, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Mira LaShawn Brock-Williams, loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Niece, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014. On February 1, 1974, Mira was born to Arnetta Brock and the late Joseph Brock Sr. in Benton Harbor, MI, and then moved to South Bend, IN, and was a lifetime resident.

She was a loving person who loved laughing and being with family. She often made her home available to others and met no strangers. She was a graduate of LaSalle High School in 1992. In 2000 she married Robert Williams. Mira attended Revelation COGIC. She taught her children to fear God and the importance of working in the church.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert Williams; her mother, Arnetta Brock; four children: two daughters, Carmen Gandy, Quenterra (Marcel) Hardin; two sons, Zachary Gandy and Quentone Gandy; a grandson, My'Ziah Gayles, all of South Bend, IN; two sisters, Anette Scott Wiley of Indianapolis, IN, Nicloe Brock-Crawford of Jacksonville, FL; four brothers, Nelson Williams Sr., Dion (Rachel) Herron, both of South Bend, Ricky (Minnie) Williams of Indianapolis, IN, Joseph Brock Jr. of Muskegon, MI; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The Celebration Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2014, at Revelations Church of God in Christ, with viewing occurring one hour prior to service at the church. Alford's Mortuary has been entrusted with arrangements. www.alfordsmortuaryinc.com
