SOUTH BEND - Brenda Kathryn Walker, 47, of Court Yard Place, South Bend, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007. She was born October 26, 1959, in South Bend, to the union of Walter L. Walker II and Addie Reese Walker.

Brenda was a graduate of LaSalle High School, and was a domestic laborer.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Addie Walker of South Bend; three sons, Dionta Porter, Brett S. Humphrey and Trey Sutherland, all of South Bend; one grandchild; three brothers, Walter (Samella) Walker III of South Bend, Brent (Marian) Walker of Granger and Kevin (Kathy) Walker of Grand Rapids, MI; two sisters, Minnie Franklin of South Bend and Patricia Austin of Toledo, OH; three uncles, Alfred (Ruth) Walker of Niles, MI, Roosevelt Walker of South Bend and Mitchell of Milwaukee, WI; an aunt, Minnie Garrison of South Bend; a brother-in-law, James Johnson of Gary, IN; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Clark; father, Walter Lewis Walker II; and by a sister, Rosa Johnson.

Services for Mrs. Brenda K. Walker will be Saturday, June 2, 2007, in the Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home, 2702 Lincoln Way West. Visitation, 10 a.m.; funeral services, 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Chain Lake Cemetery. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home has been entrusted with the services.
