SOUTH BEND - Tracy R. Walker, 43, passed away Thursday evening, July 30th. Tracy departed this life at Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident of South Bend for 40 years before moving to Indianapolis, IN, three years ago.

Tracy's life began on December 12, 1965, in South Bend, when she was born to Brenda and James Walker.

Tracy was employed by Securatac Security. Tracy was a fun-loving person who enjoyed laughing and joking with others. Tracy was a 1984 LaSalle High School graduate where she was voted the female most humorous person of her class.

Ms. Walker leaves to mourn her passing: her mother, Brenda Williams of South Bend; a daughter, Tara Taylor of Indianapolis; fiancé, Fred Lottie; two sisters, Tina Walker-Cotton of South Bend and Janay Walker of Middletown, OH; two brothers, James (Katrina) Walker II and Atlantis Walker, both of South Bend; four nieces, Shaunecca Cotton, College Park, GA, Tiyanan Walker and Kaelyn Walker, Jourdan Walker and Taylor Ray, all of South Bend; nephews, Riane Walker of Indianapolis, DeJuan Cotton, Atlantis Walker Jr. and JaQuan Walker, all of South Bend; one great-niece, Dai'Juanna Doxie-Cotton, South Bend; two great-nephews, Joshua Cotton of South Bend and Micah Walker of Indianapolis; stepmother, Tuco Walker; a special friend, Charlaine Ward; a special cousin, Carmen Diggins; and a host of other family and friends.

Preceding Tracy in death were her father, James Walker; grandmother, Mozell Hughes; uncles, Bobby, Billy-Bang, Baxter and Basil Hughes; and other family members.

Funeral services for Ms. Walker will be held at noon Friday, Aug. 7th, in Faith Apostolic, Bendix Drive, South Bend, with Pastor Eddie Miller officiating. Friends may call in the church one hour before services. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
