TRINA A. (LOTTIE) WINSTON

Sept. 6, 1967 - Aug. 15, 2012
SOUTH BEND - Trina Ann Winston was born September 6, 1967, in South Bend, Indiana, to Robert Lottie and Annie Elizabeth Lottie in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Her mother and her mother's room-mate (Almeda Jackson), both decided to name their newborn girls "Trina:" Trina Winston and Trina Jackson. Trina's last breath on this earth was forced upon her on August, 15, 2012, and God took her up in His loving arms and there she joined her mother, Elizabeth "Ms. Liz" Lottie; her oldest brother, William "Billy" Winston; her oldest nephew, Torrell Redding, Jesse, Sarah, Theotis Lottie; and so, so many more.... T

rina attended Kennedy School, Dickenson School, and LaSalle High School, where she played basketball and she was on the Drill Team. She also attended the JoAnn Bryan School of Dance. Trina traveled all over the USA for many years as a door to door saleslady for the Advantage Company, outside of the Chicago area. She met a variety of celebrities such as: Bob Denver "Gilligan" of Gilligan's Island, Whoopi Goldberg, Martin Lawrence, and many more. She also received a 'Red Jacket,' rewarded for being Top Salesperson, in appreciation from the Advantage Company.

Trina had a gift of holding conversation, no matter where or who you were. Trina was a strong woman who fought so hard at trying to get it right, and every time she would fall down, she would fight to get back up. Trina loved God. She believed in prayer...while fighting temptations. With every hardship comes ease. Death is a lesson for the living. Trina loved cartoons and children's movies. She spent times arguing with her grannies about what will they watch first and what's going to be next.

Trina is survived by her father, Robert Lottie; 3 daughters, Tyana (Rayan) Black of Indianapolis, Indiana, Tenii Washington and Tetra Winston, both of South Bend, Indiana; 5 grandchildren, Natalyah and her sister, Ryana, also of Indianapolis, Cortavion, Quintin, Marvulus and Joshia of Georgia; also surviving are 3 sisters, Sheila (John) Redding, CeCelia Bronson, Traci Winston, all of South Bend; a sister-in-law, E. Re'Nee (The Last Wm/ Billy) Winston of Maricopa, Arizona; a brother, Anthony (Wife) Johnson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 2 god-brothers, Andre Banks of South Bend and Rev. Derrick Gene (Kim) Weaver; and a very special great-aunt, Annie L. Collins, (95 yrs. young) A.K.A. Aunt-Tee to many; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends....too many to mention, but none loved less.

Trina had a very bubbly sense of humor, beautiful smile, and oooooowee....she was small but so loud, and her laugh that we'll never stop hearing in our ears. We miss Trina so much and what we have no man can take from us ....Memories! Fly free and happy beyond and across forever in the midst of the one celebration that never can end.
