Beverly Ann Winston-Phillips, 62, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of South Bend and Indianapolis, IN, departed this life on March 1, 2023. Beverly was born to the union of Richard Winston and Joann Mallard in Indianapolis, IN. Beverly was a 1979 graduate of LaSalle High School in South Bend, IN. She was a resident of South Bend, and Indianapolis, IN before she moved to Bradenton, FL in 2022. Beverly was previously employed by Century Center (Marriott), a phone operator for AT&T and a front desk customer service attendant for Residence Inn (Marriott). Additionally, she worked in management for TownePlace Suites where she retired. Beverly married Michael Phillips, Sr. whom she loved dearly.
Beverly is survived by her father, Richard (Murdell) Winston of Bradenton, FL; her siblings, Crystal Jefferies of Indianapolis, IN; LaTanga Steward, Selena Winston, all of Columbus, OH; Andrew Grywczynski, Jr. of South Bend, IN; Floyd E. Hill of Indianapolis, IN; nieces, LaRena (T’Andre) Ottbridge of South Bend, IN; Sunsea (Martell) Williams of Lawrenceville, GA; Alezandria Winston of Columbus, OH; Jasmine Swanson of Indianapolis IN; Paja Brown, Sahnarriea and Cyras Grywczynski of
South Bend, IN; Cheri Rock of Philadelphia, PA; Victoria Jacobs of Las Vegas, NV; one nephew, Rickey Jefferies, Jr. of South Bend, IN. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great nieces and one great nephew. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Phillips, Sr.; her mother, Joann Grywczynski and her stepfather, Andrew Grywczynski, Sr. The family has entrusted arrangements to Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel of Bradenton, FL.
