SOUTH BEND - Stanley L. Bethany. 31. of Chicago. formerly of South Bend, died Tuesday in St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, Ill., after an illness. Mr. Bethany was employed by T.J. Man. Chicago, as a manager He was born Nov. 21, 1962, in South Bend. and lived in South Bend until moving to Chicago in 1985.

He is survived by his mother, Louise Bethany of South Bend: a brother. Curtis Sr of South Bend: and a grandfather. James Beadin of South Bend.

He was a graduate of LaSalle High School and a former member of Elizabeth Memorial Church of God in Christ.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday in Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. 1932 Dewey St.. Evanston, Laird Funeral Home, Evanston. is in charge of arrangements.
