Patrick M. Adamo
Pat (Patrick) M. Adamo, 67 years old, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Center for Hospice in Mishawaka.
Pat was born on November 20, 1956 in South Bend, IN to the late Anthony and Ethel (Molnar) Adamo. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny; and a sister, Carmella.
Left to cherish the memory of Pat is his loving wife of 45 years, Judy (Vanderheyden) Adamo; children, Daniel (Catie) Adamo, Adam Adamo and Christopher (Erin) Adamo; granddaughters, Eveline E. & Natalie R. Adamo; and siblings, Mary, Tony, Terry, Anne (Steve) Koszyk, Louie, Connie, and Janine (Anthony) Below.
Pat traveled with "Up with People" International Singing Group, he was guest speaker for the American Cancer Society "Man to Man" and Cancer survivors’ day at Coveleski Baseball Stadium. He facilitated Stock Market Game for 8th grade students at Grissom Middle School, and coached for the Osceola Little League and MSA Recreational Soccer League. Pat enjoyed the outside, working in the yard, and gardening. Above all, he loved spending time with his granddaughters.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at University Hospital in Indianapolis, Michiana Hematology Oncology, Family Practice Residents and Faculty at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, and Pat’s incredible and compassionate nurse, April.
Visitation for Pat will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at St. Joseph funeral home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd, South Bend, IN with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:45pm . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 225 S. Mill St., Mishawaka, IN. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Pat (Patrick) M. Adamo to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 220 W Fourth St, Mishawaka, IN 46544 or Center for Hospice, Ernestine M. Raclin House, 535 Comfort Pl. Mishawaka, IN 46545.
