Terry C. Cannady

March 23, 1957 — March 19, 2000

Terry Craig Cannady, 42, of Chicago, Ill., passed away on Sunday, March 19, in his residence. Terry was born on March 23, 1957, in South Bend, Ind. He was a graduate of LaSalle High School and attended Indiana University Bloomington. After accepting employment with AT&T in Chicago, Terry moved to Chicago where he made his home for 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eugene Davis; maternal aunt and uncle, Albert and Aquilla Barnes; paternal great-aunt, Mattie Chapman; maternal aunt, Gloria Harris; a nephew, Corzan Coley; and by three cousins, Gloria Jean Harris, Cheryl Carter and Berniece Chapman.

He is survived by his mother, Fayegene Cannady of South Bend; his maternal grandmother, Earsaline Davis of South Bend; two sisters, Kathy Jo (Robert) Northern and Toni E. Cannady, both of South Bend; three brothers, James Robert Coley, Michael Thomas (Helen) Coley and Eric L. Cannady, all of South Bend; several nephews, a niece and a great-niece; eight maternal aunts and four maternal uncles; and by a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, in the Grace A.M.E. Zion Church, 121 Vassar Avenue, South Bend. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home is in charge of services.
