MISHAWAKA — Glenn M. “Marty” Falls, 45, passed away on January 1, 2007, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend, after an extended illness.

Marty was born on March 22, 1961, to Glenn and Betty (Blevens) Falls. Marty is survived by his wife, Diana Hartz of Mishawaka; two sons, Travis and Austin Falls, both of Mishawaka; their mother, Cindy Siebert; along with two stepsons, Brian and Shaun Ramer; and a granddaughter, Airis Ramer. Marty is also survived by his mother, Betty Falls of Riverview, FL; a sister, Sue Maciejewski; and a half brother, Michael Falls of Mishawaka.

Marty loved almost all sports. In his youth he played varsity baseball at LaSalle High School. He also played baseball and softball for many of his adult years.Prior to his illness he loved to golf and bowl, once bowling a 298. Marty was a Ryan Newman fan, an avid Cubs fan and a diehard Notre Dame fan.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m.Saturday, January 6, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N.Main St., where a memorial service celebrating Marty’s life will be held at 11 a.m. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

You are free from your pain and suffering, my friend. God has wrapped His loving arms around you giving you the comfort you so deserved. I will surely miss you, my buddy, until we meet again. We will be together again, my love, forever and a day
