Thomas Allen Stevens

September 16, 1962 — June 24, 2024

About 22 JUN 2024, Thomas Allen Stevens was found dead in his apartment at Arbor Lakes in Elkhart, Indiana, by the apartment manager. Tom was being treated for lung cancer that has metastasized and spread to his brain. He had died more than a week earlier. Tom had not been in contact with anyone in his family for about 30 years. Tom will be cremated. His ashes will be spread in the middle of Long Lake, near Three Rivers, Michigan, where he enjoyed times at the family cottage as a child.

Thomas Allen Stevens, 61, of Elkhart, passed away Monday June 24, 2024 at his home. He was born September 16, 1962 in South Bend, IN to Donald and Joan Stevens.

Tom graduated from LaSalle High School and worked at various jobs before joining the US Postal Service working on computers. He enjoyed sports and playing games with his nieces and nephews.

Tom is survived by his siblings, James (Pam) Stevens of Memphis, TN, Judith Singleton of Elkhart, IN., David Stevens, Richard Stevens of South Bend, IN, Edward Stevens and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Jean Stevens and brother-in-law Robert Singleton.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
