Rosalind Stephanie Parker, 63, of South Bend, IN, passed away April 9.2025
Rosalind was born on September 26, 1961, in Chicago, IL to the late Cleotha Parker and Betty Parker.
She graduated from LaSalle High School and the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Master of Science, and a Graduate Student in Health Planning Administration.
Rosalind became a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. on March 14, 1981, through the Omicron Chapter at the University of Cincinnati. A proud and dedicated Soror, she remained financially active every year since her initiation and was a life member. In 2002, she became a chapter member of the Phi Psi Omega chapter in Forest Park, Ohio, where she was deeply involved in community service and led impactful awareness campaigns on SIDS for many years. After relocating to Dallas, Roz continued her devoted service through active membership with local chapters in the area.
Rosalind is survived by her Mother, Betty Parker of South Bend, Ind. Uncle Charlie Williams of Florida. Sister/cousin Carla Sercye of Richton Park, IL, God brother Carl Bucanan of Indiana, Dana Price of Texas. God, Sister and brother, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny and Lulu Hall of South Bend, Ind. God sister, Venita Roberts of Indiana.
Rosalind is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, nieces, nephews, God-granddaughter, God-daughters, and great-nieces.
