Daniel Wolkiewicz

SOUTH BEND - Daniel Wolkiewicz, 62, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 in his residence surrounded by his family. Daniel was born May 29, 1952 in South Bend to the late Casmier and Gertrude (Mrozinski) Wolkiewicz. Daniel is also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Allen Wolkiewicz; and grandson, Joel Arthur Adams.

On August 9, 1974, in South Bend, Daniel married his loving wife of 40 years, Victoria (Harris) Wolkiewicz. She survives along with their children John Adams, James R. (Lori K.) Adams, Kristy Wolkiewicz (Reggie Robinson), and Daniel L. (Elaina J.) Wolkiewicz; grandchildren, Brittany Green, Justin Rose, Zachary Adams, Tyler Adams, Gabby Adams, Chelsea Tetzlaff, Haley Bodle, Kaitlyn Adams, and Gavin Wolkiewicz; 12 great-grandchildren; uncle, Richard (Margaret) Mrozinski; and many nieces and nephews.

Daniel honorably served in the United States Marines, Navy Seabees and National Guard. Daniel was a member of Trinity Evangelical Free Church in South Bend. He retired on May 29, 2014 from Aramark after 33 years of service. Daniel was an avid bowler, camper and roller skater.

Visitation for Daniel will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Sunday, December 7, 2014 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL
