Debra Richards, a cherished soul known for her warmth and unwavering kindness, passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on July 3, 1959, in Elkhart, Indiana, Debra's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and the simple joys of everyday life.
Debra was lovingly raised by her parents, Lee Roy Weaver and Patricia Alice (Everett) Weaver. Debra's journey led her to South Bend, Indiana, where she would eventually lay her roots and create a life filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.
Throughout her life, Debra dedicated herself to her work as a waitress, serving others with a smile that could brighten the darkest of days. Her natural ability to connect with people made her not just a favorite among patrons but a beloved figure in her community.
Debra's legacy is carried on by her adoring sons, Forrest Browne and Drew Browne. She is also survived by her sister, Donna Drury, her many nieces, her great nephews, and a great great nephew, who are all a testament to their family's strength and unity, and whom she loved very much.
Debra was a devoted animal lover, leaves behind a legacy marked by her unwavering passion for creatures of all kinds. Her kindness and care for animals touched many lives and will be fondly remembered by those who knew her.
Debra was predeceased by her parents, and sister Peggy Monroe, and her great niece Jamie Davis, with whom she now shares a heavenly reunion.
Debra Richards will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her life was a beautiful reflection of the love she gave so freely, and her memory will be treasured forever.
As per Debra's wishes there will be no formal services held at this time. Hahn Funeral home has been entrusted to make the final arrangements.
