Michael R. McDonald Jr., 35, of Tonti Avenue, died Tuesday, Nov.2, in the home of his aunt, Maureen Farrell.

Mike was born Feb.28, 1969, in South Bend, Ind. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Christine and Scott Mattasits; his father, Mike McDonald; a sister, Candice L.Bryne; his grandmother, Norma Boyer; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a stepbrother, Scott Mattasits Jr., and grandparents, Grace and Tom Farrell.

Mike attended Corpus Christi and LaSalle High School.

A memorial Mass will be held at 3 p.m.Saturday, Nov.6, in Holy Family Catholic Church, 56405 Mayflower Road, South Bend, with Rev.Chris Young officiating.The family will receive friends from 2:30 until services in the church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Logan, P.O.Box 1049, South Bend, IN 46624.

The HICKEY Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, is in charge of arrangements.
