Diana Karen Jackson, 70, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

Diana was born in South Bend on September 20, 1954, to the late Eliza Ruth (Nowlin) Moore and John William Moore. She graduated from LaSalle High School in 1972. She later earned her Bachelor’s degree and worked as a certified health care provider. She worked for St. Joseph Care Center West for twenty years then later retired from Logan Center after twenty years of service.

Left to cherish the memories of Diana are her husband, Lonnie Darnell Jackson of South Bend; daughter, Jennifer Rebecca Williamson of South Bend; son, Derek Nowlin Jackson of South Bend; son, Adam Darnell Jackson and wife Natasha Jackson of Georgetown, Colorado; son, Aaron Matthew Jackson of South Bend; brother, J.C. John Collier Moore of South Bend; brother, James William Moore and wife Sue Ranker Moore of Florence, Wisconsin; brother, Dale Charles Moore of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren, Jenneisha Chanel Glover, Titus Dwayne Glover, Ivory Kailyn Jackson, Khalil Jackson, Soren Jet Jackson, and Audiel Reyn Jackson; great grandchildren, Braeshaun, Brayon, and Nashaun. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, David Paul Moore, and a grandson, Kyler Nowlin Jackson.

A memorial service for Diana will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, September 27, 2024, at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Friends may visit from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, two hours prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
