Mermon Le-Roy Elliott Jr (Roy) came into this world February 27, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois and was the youngest of 7 children to Patricia A and Mermon L Elliott Sr. He attended Holy Cross Grammar school and LaSalle High School in South Bend, In. Roy accept Christ at the tender age of 6 at St. Augustine Church in 1979 where he was also a member. He worked as a forman for the Eaton Corporation and lastly with Tiara Yachts. He displayed a wonderful knack for solving mechanical problems.
Roy lived life to the fullest. He truly loved driving the open highway and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, spending time with his family and friends. Roy had very kind heart and an ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He is survived by his father Mermon L Elliott Sr, six children Mermon III (Tre), Shakur, Jordan, Alicia, Zacharia and Xavier Elliott, four sisters Karla Elliott, Deborah Anderson (Andre), Tanya Elliott, and Nicole Burns, one aunt Billy-Jean Porte’, five uncles Mike, Tim, Earl, Kenny, Tyrone Perez numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Roy was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Elliott, and siblings Robert L Clark and Angela Elliott-Gant.
You have your wings now Roy. You are now the Angel that we know and love.
