George W. Hugins Ill

George W. Hugins 111, 23, of Allen Street, expired after an illness on Wednesday, Feb. 21, in his home. He was born on Aug. 26, 1977, in South Bend, Ind., to the union of Mary and George W. Hugins Jr. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eddie Jones Sr., and fraternal grandfather, George W. Hugins Sr.
Survivors include his parents, Mary and George W. Hugins Jr.; two sisters, Stephanie Neal and Taurus Hugins; two nieces, Kiri and Jakira Neal; maternal grandmother, Tenner Rae Jones; and fraternal grandmother, Navada Hugins, all of South Bend. George W. Hugins III attended LaSalle High School.
He confessed his life to Christ at an early age. He was also a member of Hero Camp. He loved to fish, roller skate, and was the neighborhood barber. George was also known as "Man-Man," and was a loving, kind and loyal person. He wasn't a stranger to anyone,
Special cousins, Morrell Jones, Declos as "D", and David "Bird" Brooks; special friends, Danny "Lil Danny' Knight, Jermaine "Bear" Phillips, Douglas, Tyrone, Regis, Mickie (John), Tommie Lloyd as Shane; his favorite pet dog, McDooler; and a host of relatives, including aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services for George W. Hugins Ill will be held at noon today, Feb. 28, in the Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home, 1032 W. Washington Street, South Bend. Visitation will be at 11 a.m., and burial will follow services at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home has been entrusted with services
